Valley Forge National Historic Park

Valley Forge National Historic Park

For the Outdoorsy Type: Valley Forge National Historic Park, King of Prussia, Pa

If you love the outdoors, Valley Forge is an obvious choice for you because of its rolling hills, meandering trails, and overall beautiful scenery. Nestled a short drive from West Chester, it’s a place rich with historic meaning and breath taking views. There’s many great spots within this 3,500 acre park to capture your love. Historic Chester County Courthouse

Historic Chester County Courthouse

For the City Lover: Downtown West Chester, Pa

Are you a city girl or guy at heart? Maybe you don’t live all that close to Philly and don’t feel like trekking out to the City of Brotherly Love for your shoot. If so, you’re in luck! Downtown West Chester offers a small scale city feel with quaint restaurants and charming stores. Walk along Market and Gay Streets, stop by the old court house, and pose in front of cute window displays like Malena’s Vintage Boutique. The old architecture and abundance of eateries is reminiscent of Philly and perfect for the city slicker sort.

Split Rail Tavern

Obsessed with food? Me too! Stop for tomato pie at Carlino’s, a beer at Split Rail, or gelato at D’Ascenzo’s. They’re all in West Chester, and they’re all delicious! Take a seat at the tables inside Split Rail for an industrial tavern feel or pose outside of the adorable gelato joint that looks like it’s straight out of Italy.
